These terms govern your use of this website and your participation in any event (“sitting”) organised by The Secret Sitting, operated by [Registered business / proprietor name], [Full postal address, city, state, PIN] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, applying, or paying for a seat, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, apply, or attend.
- One account per person. The details you give us must be true and your own.
2. Applications and selection
- Applying does not guarantee a seat. Guests are selected at our sole discretion, and we are not obliged to explain a decision.
- If you are selected, your seat is held for you until you pay for it or until the time stated in your portal. An unpaid seat may be offered to someone else.
- Your seat is confirmed only after payment succeeds and the status in your portal shows Confirmed.
3. Price and payment
- The seat price for each sitting is shown on its application page and in your portal, in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
- A seat is for one named person and is non-transferable.
4. The secret
The venue and details of a sitting are revealed only to confirmed guests, in their portal. You agree not to publish or share them. The time, place, or format of a sitting may change; if a change is material we will tell you, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
5. Conduct at a sitting
- Follow the entry protocol, the host's instructions, and the law. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is intoxicated, unsafe, abusive, or disrespectful of other guests, without a refund.
- Some sittings ask guests to hand over phones or not to record. Respect the privacy of the other guests.
- You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Your account
Keep your password private. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a sitting is limited to the amount you paid for that seat.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
