What we collect
- Account: your email address and password (stored hashed), or your Google account email and name if you sign in with Google.
- Profile: the name, handle, and city you choose to give us.
- Applications: your answers to a sitting's questions, and the status of your application.
- Payments: the Razorpay order and payment IDs, amount, and status. Card, UPI, and bank details go directly to Razorpay and never reach us.
Why we use it
- To run your account, review applications, and select guests.
- To take payment for, and confirm, your seat.
- To send you messages about your application and sittings you are attending.
- To keep the site and our guests safe, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
- Hostinger, whose server in India runs this website, its database, and sign-in.
- Resend, which delivers our account emails (confirmation and password reset).
- Razorpay, which processes payments.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus one browser setting that remembers you have seen our cookie notice. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it is open. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 8 years. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and applications except where we must keep records by law.
Your rights
You can see and correct your profile in your account settings. You may also ask us to give you a summary of your data, correct it, or delete it, or you may withdraw your consent, by writing to [contact email]. We will reply within 30 days.
